Les isolateurs en verre utilisent une structure de frittage de verre avec de bonnes performances d'étanchéité. Ils peuvent être utilisés avec des connecteurs à ondes millimétriques tels que SMA et 2.92, et peuvent également être utilisés directement entre les cartes PCB, les modèles, les modèles et les composants. Il utilise du verre (la constante diélectrique est d'environ 4,0) comme matériau isolant, et les conducteurs intérieurs et extérieurs sont en alliage Kovar. Après frittage à haute température, la surface est nickelée avec de l'or. Les isolateurs en verre présentent les avantages d’une petite taille, d’un poids léger, d’une étanchéité à l’air et d’une grande fiabilité. Ils sont principalement utilisés dans les cas où il y a des exigences d'étanchéité ou des exigences en matière de volume et de poids du produit. Ils conviennent à une installation intensive. Le conducteur interne peut être connecté de différentes manières, telles que le branchement, le montage en surface, le soudage et la liaison par fil d'or.
